In the present world, where we live with different types of flora as well as fauna and nature, we are facing very critical problems. Today, global warming is increasing, and due to this, the weather is changing a lot. Due to the changing weather, many flora and fauna are disappearing because they do not adapt to the changing climate. And this all happens because of all the activities people do, like cutting trees for profit and creating too much pollution on land as well as water. To stop this, all activity-related marine conservation laws play an important role in balancing the ocean ecosystem. This succinct abstract highlights global efforts, legal framework work, and efforts aimed at preserving marine ecosystems. And also discuss the challenges associated with balancing conservation efforts and admit the socio-economic factors influencing the execution of marine conservation laws. This abstract delivers a succinct overview of marine conservation laws. And also, this abstract analyzes the importance of marine conservation laws in protecting the ocean from threats like overfishing. It also highlights international collaborations as well as the purpose of creating marine protected areas.
 
Let's imagine the earth is like a puzzle where every flora and fauna person fixes or connects with each other. In the present day, this puzzle faces some big problems and challenges. Now days, the weather is acting strange and the climate is changing. Many flora and fauna disappear because they do not adapt. And this all happens due to illegal activity done by humans. Introduction
Marine conservation laws play an important role in protecting biodiversity as well as limiting fishing. And it also helps to maintain the ecological balance. We all know that the ocean provides all essential materials, changes in climate, and also supports different types of ecosystems. And its duty to protect marine species and also take care of the ocean for long-term health because it is important for human beings, flora, and fauna. We know the ocean covers a large part of our planet, which is home to many flora and fauna. So we maintain stability and take care of our entire health. Our ocean is not only beautiful but also an essential source of food. A fishery is a business that provides the livelihoods of millions of people and also provides food around the world. But this activity increases the risk of overfishing, conservation plays an important role for sustainable the ocean acts like a container of carbon dioxide, which helps shift the climate. And it also plays an important role in decreasing global warming. Protecting marine environments means highlighting issues like a decrease in the pH of the earth's ocean and an increase in the temperatures. It is very sad that our ocean is facing very serious problems like pollution, climate change, and rising temperatures. Marine conservation takes important steps to tackle these issues by encouraging every individual to engage in waste management, use cleaner technologies, and raise awareness. Marine conservation plays an important role in sustaining the life of the earth. By preserving ecosystems, reducing overfishing, and also reducing pollution.
 
Historical background of marine conservation law
Marine conservation laws have evolved due to increasing concern about the impact of human activities on the ocean. In the past, it was controlling resources like overfishing, as seen in laws such as the Magnuson Stevens Act (1976). The UN gave more consideration to these laws related to the sea in 1982, and this decision takes global steps towards emphasizing conservation. So in 1992, it gave more importance to the Earth Summit and Agenda 21 to expand the importance of marine ecosystems. So further in 2002, it also highlighted the need for protecting our oceans. And in 2030, its aim is to conserve marine environments for the future.
 
Present condition of marine conservation laws
In the present time, marine law faces many challenges, such as a decrease in the quality of air (poisonous gas produced by big companies), overfishing, and a shift in climate. Due to these reasons, it is easy to damage the balance of the marine ecosystem. Also plastic waste among them to harm marine life. Our ocean is very big as well as mysterious, facing many challenges that demand our attainment. A few challenges are:
 
Ø  Overfishing: is a business in which individuals catch excessive fish to fill the needs of those who eat sea food, and due to excessive fishing, it harms marine life. When the fishing is not controlled at the basic level, it gets converted into a shortage of fish population and disturbs the balance of the ecosystem. And also affected those individuals’ livelihoods that depend on this business.
Ø  Pollution is a prevalent issue in changing ecosystems, such as plastic waste and harmful gases produced by big companies. The pollution is dangerous because it harms marine life in the long term. Like tiny creatures to big marine animals. When water gets dirty (due to the addition of harmful substances) it disturbs the food chain, marine creatures as well as those individuals who depend upon them.
 
All countries in the earth that are developed as well as developing should come together and take action fast to tackle the problems of overfishing, pollution, and shifts in climate. Due to control over the excessive use of fishing and the increase in pollution, it takes important steps against a change in the ecosystem. We know that in the future, our oceans will be in danger, so it is the responsibility of everyone to protect the ecosystem for our future generations.
 
New techniques and approaches
In the present time, international and national conservation laws play an important role in protecting the environment. The Conservation of Biological Diversity is an international treaty, and the aim of this treaty is to conserve biodiversity. Local laws such as the endangered species act in the U.S. focus on preventing those animals that are in danger. In India, there are many laws related to the environment, such as the Wild Life Protection Act of 1992, which focuses on protecting animals and their habitats. The next act is the Forest Conservation Act. This act focuses on the do-not-miss-use land of the forests. On a global level, India is a part of the Convention on Biodiversity and the Ramsar Convention. All these conventions focus on conserving marsh land. All these treaties help a country maintain a steady balance between development and stability in the environment. We know that marine conservation is very successful, and there are such examples as creating a marine protected area. These areas are underwater, and in this area, some activities are banned for the safety of marine animals. Another example is that it also maintains fishing practices. And it also reduces plastic use and pollution; it also cleans the beaches and does camping to minimize single-use practices.  In India, the marine conservation efforts are successful. Also establish Mannar Marine National Park in Tamil Nadu, and it is the duty of this park to protect different marine life as well as ecosystems. And it also established an application known as the Fisher Friend mobile application in Kerala, and this application helps fishermen learn about real-time as well as weather conditions. And this application also encourages people related to resource conservation. We make ocean protection laws better, so we improve the execution of these laws. All countries exchange our technology and work together. The laws are flexible, so they can easily adapt to a new challenge like a shift in climate. And all countries get stable between conservation and economic activity. And also involve local admission for decision-making related to ecosystems.
