ABSTRACT
Savagery is an act of being violent or in an uncivilized way,
while civilization is the way of being extra organized, pre planning matters
and dwelling via way of means of regulations and regulations. In this novel,
Ralph, oldest some of the boys, represents civilization as he assembles all of

voice. Jack, on the other hand, depicts savagery since he rules over the lads
and is bored with what they need to say. Golding emphasises the importance of
guidelines and the desire to intentionally impose them in order for society to
function correctly through the actions of the lads. Golding argues that human
nature leads people from common sense to barbarism when they are freed from the
constraints of society. It's the tale of a society wherein democracy descends
into tribalism and tyranny. One of a civilization constructed via way of means
